This hand built 2 person street legal 30s era racer was built utilizing all period components titled and based off of a 1927 Studebaker. Powered by the legendary 354 ci inline 6 cylinder engine known as the Big Six. 1927 was symbolic for Studebaker as their Diamond Jubilee and also the move to South Bend, Indiana from Detroit/ This expertly built example has a 114" wheelbase, suspension is parallel semi elliptical springs front and rear with 21" disc type wheels. It uses the original 3 speed transmission and it appears to have used a roadster body as a base with the hand formed steel boat tail body forming the rear section. The finished product is a tribute to Studebaker's early automotive background and racing history. It is very drivable and draws crowds at any event!
